While the fans glued their eyes to the stats of the Chevrolet and Toyota teams, a fairly new team came up and aced the game. Yes, you guessed it right. It is the RFK Racing Team. The amount of drive that perhaps the most coveted boss and driver duo has shown since Richmond is just unputdownable.

Chris Buescher won back-to-back races at Richmond and Michigan. And last Saturday, he clenched his third win of the season at Daytona. Although Brad Keselowski is showering him with praise, there is something else that is bugging his boss.

Brad Keselowski-the owner, wins over Brad Keselowski-the driver

Everywhere Brad Keselowski goes after Daytona, people will know him as the owner of the winning team. And looking at the prospect of the team, his sponsors will scatter flowers as he walks. However, besides being a team owner, the number 6 Ford Mustang star is a Cup Series driver who is arguably in the prime of his career.

At this point, coming a couple of spots behind the winner might come off as a bummer. Back in Michigan, Brad had come 4th, three spots behind Chris Buescher, and even earlier in Richmond, Brad came 6th. It must have been frustrating for the 39-year-old Speedster to finish top-5 and top-10, but not get the victory. The cherry on the cake? His team’s driver gets the victory every time.

During the post-race press conference, Brad Keselowski admitted that one of RFK Racing’s goals this weekend was to get a 1-2 finish. And they did it. However, while the owner in Brad whistled at Buescher’s win, the driver in him just wished it was him.

He smiled and said, “Of course, I wanted to be the one on the front of that but proud nonetheless of Chris. And his efforts and both team’s.”

He congratulated his entire team for their efforts and exclaimed, “Where they’ve grown and come together and doing all the right things to grow us and just take us to that next level.”

“Today was just another kind of feather in our cap and we’re really proud,” he added proudly.

Fans extended their best wishes to RFK Racing, Chris Buescher, and Brad Keselowski on achieving their sole goal
