Bubba Wallace is one of the most polarising drivers, after Kyle Busch. He has had his critics and his supporters, and more often than not, they have clashed with each other. Recently, the latest salvo from the anti-Bubba Wallace camp was from author Nick Adams. Following the race at Kansas, he tweeted multiple times about the driver’s 10th place finish. The author also insinuated that the 23XI Racing driver was the worst driver he had ever seen.

Of course, this did not sit well with the Bubba Wallace fan club, and they came down on Adams heavily. People pointed out that his 10th place finish was not a true representation of his pace. The #23 driver encountered a number of hurdles while on his way to the tail of the Top 10. His struggles were because he had issues during two of his pit stops and had a pit road penalty.

Wallace even dropped to the back of the pack twice. Despite those hiccups, he was able to claw his way back up the order and ultimately finished 10th. This proves that he definitely had the pace to run at the front, but wasted precious time coming from the back. Though it was through no fault of his own.

How else did the fans troll the Bubba Wallace hater?

A fan even asked Adams if he could name any five tracks which were not named Daytona. Unfortunately for Adams, he kind of shot himself in the foot in his reply to the question. He wrote, Brickyard, Coca-Cola, Talladega, Bristol Motor Speedway, and Darlington. Many fans know that there is no such track called Coca-Cola, but there is a Coca-Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Obviously, he got hounded for his lack of knowledge of NASCAR. The angry fans declared that he had no right to judge Wallace too harshly when he himself had no clue about the sport. Others joked that since Adams was tweeting so much about Wallace, he was a closet Bubba Wallace fan. So, the 23XI Racing driver should send him some complimentary merchandise.
