Imagine prank-calling four-time NASCAR Cup champion Jeff Gordon repeatedly until he finally screams and curses you. Sounds like a dream, right? Well, to most of us it’d be one, but for Doc Gallows, better known as The Big LG, it was a reality.

In a recent interview, Gallows revealed the time he would prank call the current Vice President of Hendrick Motorsports back in the day.

“When I was in development..there was also a development race car driver living next door to me. And one day he had a couple too many sodas and he kept bragging about having Jeff Gordon’s phone number,” he said.

“So I immediately extracted it from his phone. And then when I would have too many sodas, I would prank call Jeff Gordon,” Gallows continued. “I thought it was so funny because I would just do it and you would get his voicemail.”

“One day Jeff Gordon answered the phone and said, ‘WHY THE F**K DO YOU KEEP DOING THIS?!’ And I was like, ‘Oh, boy. Sorry man.'”

When Jeff Gordon poked fun at fellow driver Kyle Busch

In 2010, NASCAR driver for Joe Gibbs Racing, Kyle Busch, showed up in a pink race suit. While the color of the suit was assumingly because of sponsorship-related reasons, it didn’t stop his fellow drivers from making fun of him.

Jeff Gordon hit the ball rolling when he asked Busch, “My excuse is that my three-year-old designed my car. What’s your excuse?”

Mine was by a nine-year-old,” Kyle Busch fought back with a like-wise explanation to Gordon’s comment.

Then it was the turn of Tony Stewart who had a word of advice for Busch. “That’s what you need to wear when you go dirt track racing. That way when some big burly guy wants to hurt you..”,  Stewart added, to which Busch replied, “How can you fight this?”
