In his long stay in the NASCAR arena, Clint Bowyer has notched up 10 wins and a best finish of second in 2012. Now, his six-year-old son, Cash Bowyer, is carrying on the winning tradition. Recently, Cash Bowyer won his first Beginner Box Stock car series race, and Clint couldn’t be prouder.

Now that he has retired from NASCAR, he can dedicate more time to his son. Cash Bowyer is hardly the first child to follow in his father’s footsteps. In fact, Kyle Busch’s son, Brexton is also competing in the same series and has a couple of wins under his belt.

Clint Bowyer is happy that his son takes after him

Obviously, it will take a lot of time before Cash can grow up and join NASCAR. Until then, all that he and Brexton can do is gain as much experience as possible and gradually progress up the order.

Who knows, there may come a time when the Bowyer and Busch announce a return to the NASCAR grid. For the moment, Kyle Busch is still racing in the sport and is determined to win another Cup Series championship. Having won it in 2019, he is certainly capable of taking the fight to the newly-crowned champion, Chase Elliott.
