It was the last week of November 2021 when the Busch family realized that their one wish will finally come true after eight years of wait. On a sunny day, Samantha and Kyle brought their son Brexton to a small picnic. In the rather vacant park, there was a small white cloth on the grass with a gift box waiting for B-Rex. Adding a touch of beauty as a perfect backdrop to the cozy picnic spot was a rainbow arch made out of balloons and flowers. Was it an ideation of how the storms, filled with heartaches and tears, here represented by black balloons at the bottom, rose up to form happy times, as the art transformed into bright colorful balloons? Maybe. Because in that box, was some news for Brexton that would impact his and his family’s life forever.
As the three walked towards the picnic spot hand in hand in matching white attires, Samantha told Brexton, “We got you a present. What do you think it is?” The young Busch responded gleefully, “I don’t know.” The three sat down as the then 6-year-old opened the box and exclaims in confusion: “A lime?” But that was not the present. With the lime was present a series of ultrasound polaroids of a baby, who was the size of a lime at that point. When he understood what it was, he hugged his mother and cheerfully said, “Ohhh my God! My baby sister!” Yes! It was Lennix Busch, the youngest of the clan, who would join the family in May 2022.
Since then, we have seen many cherished moments of the Busch siblings, giving perfect goals to what a brother and sister should be. Be it Brexton disagreeing to Lenni having a boyfriend while she could barely stand to steering the baby Busch’s Barbie car with his scooter. And if these moments of pure unfiltered love and joy were not enough, Samantha has something more for us after Brexton Busch’s success on the track that melted hearts across social media.

Young B-Rex scored a victory at the INEX short track, right after winning the coveted Golden Driller trophy. While Brexton was giving his post-race interview, Lennix, dressed in her racing outfit, matching Brexton’s racing colors, playfully walked up to her big brother. Without hesitation, she wrapped him in a sweet hug, melting hearts all around the victory lane. Samantha Busch shared the precious moment on her Instagram story, giving fans a glimpse of their heartwarming sibling bond.
Cute! But there’s more!
Samantha followed up the video with an adorable photo of the siblings standing together. Brexton proudly held up the checkered flag while both he and Lennix flashed matching “#1” signs for the camera. Brexton’s confident smile and Lennix’s gleeful expression captured the pure joy of the moment.

This is just one instance of the sibling duo’s adorable moments in the Busch household. Just a few months ago, Samantha took it to her Instagram to share a small instance of the siblings lending her a hand. While cooking a meal for the family, Brexton and the 2-year-old Lennix helped her with the prep work. She wrote, “One making protein banana bars and one chopping up carrots for me for chicken noodle soup. I love that they love to be in the kitchen with me.”
Now, it’s not all fun times in the Busch house. Behind the adoration for one another, it seems, on occasion, Brexton does get frustrated. While the mother-son duo hopped on an Instagram trend, Brexton revealed, “So sometimes, you know how you yell at me whenever Lennix is screaming and you think it’s my fault, always, […] So I go up into my room and throw up the middle fingers.”
What’s your perspective on:
Is Brexton Busch the next big thing in NASCAR, or just riding on his dad's coattails?
Have an interesting take?
Oops?!
Regardless, considering how B-Rex’s racing career is going so far, these adorable moments with Lennix in the victory lane might just turn into a regular occurrence.
Brexton Busch is on track to be one of the youngest Truck Series drivers in history
With racing in his blood, it didn’t surprise anyone when Brexton got behind the steering wheel at a young age. Interestingly, as soon as he started, Brexton began winning. His latest success? The Tulsa Shootout victory where he snatched the Golden Driller in the 20-lap Junior Sprint A-Main and left his competitors in dirt, literally.

In the event’s 4oth edition that took place until January 4 in SageNet Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma, B-Rex rode the No. 18b micro sprint car for two classes, Restricted ‘A’ and Junior Sprints. One of his competitors was Kyle Larson’s 10-year-old son Owen Larson. It’s this success that can add Brexton’s name to the list of some of the youngest NASCAR National Series drivers, one which includes names like Cole Custer and Erik Jones.
Alongside Brexton was his father competing in four classes in the Tulsa Shootout. He swept away the 30-lap Winged Outlaw race and the Winged A-Class race. Going against him were NASCAR Cup Series drivers Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson and Bell won the 55-lap Non-Wing Outlaw main event after fending off Larson in the late-race charge.
For Kyle Busch participating in events together has another meaning as his current plan is to retire by the time Brexton is 15. He explained, “In a perfect world, I would retire from Cup racing when Brexton is 15 years old, and I would go run a year of Truck… When Brexton turns 16, him and I can split that Truck where he can run the shorter track races and I can run the bigger track races.”

Another name who walked a similar path, as mentioned before, is Cole Custer, who defied expectations and took a Truck Series victory when he was 16 at the World Wide Technology Raceway. Now, Custer was 16 days and 7 months old at the time. If B-Rex can push himself, get into a truck by 16, and win, he could very well create history here.
All that remains is for him not to just keep winning, but to learn from his failures, as he did from his debut in karting. But we do know that his 2-year-old sister Lenni will be right beside him.
