Kyle Busch spoke on something interesting that has been on the fans’ hot-topic list for a long time. Do NASCAR drivers pee during the races in their suits? The life of a NASCAR driver during a race is one of intense focus and endurance. They remain confined to their cars for lengthy periods, often in extreme heat and under considerable pressure.
As expected, a thought comes up about how they control their emergencies. Unlike some other jobs where one can simply go to the restroom whenever they wish, the life of a NASCAR driver is not so easy. Amidst all the adrenaline rushes, they must wait for the high-speed race to end to think of all other necessities. Recently, Rowdy weighed in, sparking the debate once more.

Richard Childress star Kyle Busch joined ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ to answer some interesting aspects of racing. McAfee directed a hilarious question toward him, asking how many suits were peed into this season so far. Following this, Busch had an even funnier response when he claimed that his competitors were not smelling right at the end of the races.
Busch said, “I mean we started off really strong, our beginning of the year was really good. We were almost kind of in position to win the Daytona 500. I got in the wrong line and kind of got shuffled back in the late goings, but we’ve had some Top 10s this year, we’ve had some good speed this year. We’ve also kind of struggled at some of the shorter race tracks. So, not quite where we want to be there, but all firesuits are clean. I can confirm that all is good on that end. I can’t say the same for some of my competitors, you know? They’re not smelling right when it comes out to the end.”
This initiated hilarious laughter from the hosts, as well as Rowdy himself. After this, Busch seemed extremely confident going ahead for the Talladega race. This is the same track where Busch emerged victorious last year ahead of Ryan Blaney.
However, before the demanding weekend begins, we are reminded of suits that might have smelled, as Busch said.

Dale Earnhardt Jr opened up on the importance of using the restroom before races but never felt the urge to let it all go during races. He blamed the extreme heat and dehydration for the bladder not getting filled up. He even claimed that if a driver fears dehydration and drinks a lot of water before the race, they might end up going to the restroom even before the green flag is raised.
“It’s not too often that this happens because the car is real hot, and you sweat a lot, and you basically lose all your water weight through sweating. So your bladder never fills up.”

However, in 2004, Tony Stewart pulling off a victory despite having a stomach bug made quite the news. Following his victory lap, observers noted Stewart’s cautious and awkward gait as he exited his vehicle. Although he did not confirm anything directly, the observations suggested that he may have faced some discomfort during the race. And well, Denny Hamlin has admitted to the act in a pretty straightforward manner.
There seems to be no direct resolution to this problem because this is unexpected in the first place. But considering how tough those races are, can we really blame the drivers? What do you think?
