From being a staple game for all the big streamers to having its tournaments on a global scale, Fortnite has established itself as one of the greatest games of all time. So it’s no wonder that Carson Hocevar also enjoys playing it. But there is something unique about the Spire Motorsports driver’s version of the Battle Royale game.

He recently uploaded a picture of a brand new Fortnite skin of himself wearing a full-race outfit, on his X handle. The skin was categorized as a Legendary Outfit and the description read, “NASCAR RACER. Have no fear, Hovercar is here!”

While nothing has been confirmed yet by the developers of the game, fans have been hoping for this to be true. They flooded Carson Hocevar’s comments section as they expressed their disbelief and prayed for the NASCAR skin to be a real thing that could be unlocked or bought in the game.

Judging by the reaction to the online post, people were more shocked than excited. Users could not believe that Fortnite actually had a NASCAR skin as there has been no official statement from the developers of the video game yet. “What in the world,” one fan commented.

Others hoped that the skin was real, and that Hocevar was not just playing with his fans by uploading a fake image on Twitter. “I swear if this is fake,” one user commented. Another user said that they would start playing the game if the NASCAR outfit was real. “If this is real I’ll actually play Fortnite,” they wrote.

Others were simply stunned with disbelief at the picture Carson Hocevar uploaded. “NO WAY,” one user commented. “I’m sorry but HOW???” asked another expressing their shock. To be fair, the outfit did have a fantastic look and feel about it.
