NASCAR Xfinity Series driver, Hailie Deegan, was not expecting it when her fiance came on the verge of a dangerous accident. Despite the dirt track arena being familiar ground, Deegan’s fiance Chase Cabre narrowly swerved past something that could have turned serious. Hailie was visibly anxious on video, as she believed Cabre may have lost consciousness.
The mishap occurred on the dirt tracks of the Atlantic City Indoor Racing space during the TQ Midget event.

Hailie Deegan was rooting for her fiance Chase Cabre at the Atlantic City Midget Car Race. Before the race, Deegan admitted the risky nature of the game: “…probably some of the gnarliest racing I’ve seen, like some of the most aggressive racing I’ve seen”. Her analysis was on point; maybe a bit uncannily true about what followed.
The race was part of Deegan’s recent vlog, with Cabre going steady for the first few minutes. Then the accident unfurled. It was as sudden as it was out of the blue. The car behind Cabre tried to move past him. But in doing so, it ended up crashing into the side of Cabre and flipping him over.
As can be discerned from the footage, Cabre was not moving for quite some time. As officials and staff rushed to help him, he slowly crawled out of the upturned vehicle, trying to get back to his senses. After some time, both Deegan and Cabre are seen walking side by side and discussing the turn of events, where Deegan can be heard saying, “I think you got knocked out,” as Cabre’s head was turned downwards.

In 2022, as per NBC, they faced an unusual adversity – a person was blackmailing and threatening them. Claiming that Hailie was dating him, the obsessed fan gave death threats to Cabre. Moreover, the person lived close to Deegan’s race shop, which made things quite uncomfortable for the couple. However, the couple buckled up and weathered the storm together.
