The match is going to take place at 8 PM on Saturday. Despite facing criticism from the MMA community. Paul has found a supporter in Stephen A. Smith, who commends the social media star for his philanthropic efforts and genuine intentions. Stephen was recently in controversy for his aggressive analysis of Donald Cerrone against Conor McGregor. 

As the anticipation builds for Jake’s upcoming mega bout. Stephen has praised Jake Paul and has kind words for him.

Amongst the supporters, there is Stephen A. Smith who has praised Jake before his fight. The ESPN analyst was recently in a controversy involving Cerrone, Conor, and Joe Rogan. Stephen analyzed Cerrone’s loss to Conor, which was criticized by Joe Rogan. There were back-and-forth responses and Nate Diaz emerged as a supporter of Stephen.

In a tweet, he calls for Rogan and McGregor to apologize to Smith for their criticism against him.

Stephen A. Smith’s Praise for “Crazy” Jake Paul

In a recent interview with Jake’s brother logan paul, Stephen expressed his admiration for Jake Paul. “I have always had respect for you [Logan] and your brother [Jake], I have spoken to Jake on many occasions… I think his heart is in the right place,” said Smith.

Smith went on to acknowledge the eccentricities of both brothers. “He is crazy at times, you know that. He is your brother, you know how he could be”.

While praising further, Stephen said that their (Paul brothers) efforts for positive contributions often go unnoticed. “He does a lot of good things that he doesn’t get credit for… He has a good heart, man; that’s just the way it goes”,  he said to Logan.
