The Los Angeles Lakers displayed a poor performance in their 2022-23 campaign until the management roped in major changes mid-season. Eventually, from barely staying afloat in the 13th seed, the team rose up to playing the Conference Finals. While fans expected LeBron James to nab his 5th title, the superstar fell short in the Conference Finals. However, a Lakers’ new addition expressed his wish to help King James get his fifth crown.

Ahead of the 2022-23 season’s trade deadline, the Lakers cracked several deals that helped them break shackles. Notably, Rui Hachimura, Malik Beasley and D’Angelo Russell played an eminent role. Along with the likes of The Akron Hammer and Anthony Davis, the purple and gold franchise look to go big in the upcoming season.

In The Old Man & the Three podcast, the host J. J. Redick asked Vincent if his recent trade to the Lakers would affect his relationship with the Heat. The NBA star, without any hesitation, replied that he had taken this decision for the good of his family and the opportunity that he received for a huge price.

However, before ending his statement, he said, “We gotta get Lake show a ring.”

The Lakers have a pool of talent and they recently re-signed Austin Reaves, so it is doubtful that Vincent would get a call in the starting lineup.
