Your Golden State Warriors are now on a 5-game winning streak. Klay Thompson led the charge by scoring a team-high 26 points at an impressive 57% clip. In a bold move, the Warriors utilized 13 players out of rotation against the Utah Jazz, embodying all the aspects of their philosophy. Together, the roster outrebounded the Jazz and shot more than 45% from the three. Notably, eight players contributed with double-digit scores, showcasing the Warriors’ collaborative approach.

During the post-game interview, Klay expressed the still erect pillars of the franchise’s “strength in numbers” concept. He then utilized his screen time to praise the entire squad coming together and chipping for the win. However, after praising the team’s performance, he then shifted the focus to Stephen Curry. Acknowledging what Steph has been doing for the team all season long, he addressed his challenges, saying, “It’s hard for him to carry load every single night.”

Despite a slightly challenging 9-19 shooting performance, Steph’s contributions are highlighted by the fact that seven other Warriors had to step up offensively; showcasing the burden he has been carrying to keep the team afloat in the season standings. Now that the Warriors seem to have found their rhythm, Steph can potentially work on efficiency and reserve a few tricks up his sleeves for the playoffs.
