LeBron James has taken the internet by storm. In the recent viral battle between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, it seems LeBron James has chosen his side. The two of hip-hop’s biggest stars drew global attention, causing a rift as they released nine diss tracks aimed at one another in a course of four weeks or less; one of which, has the L-Train moving to the beats.

A video now viral on social media shows LeBron James grooving to Kendrick Lamar’s diss track aimed at Drake, titled “Not Like Us,” which went on to top the Apple Music charts in less than 24 hours. The clip posted by a fan shows James vibing to the song, which has raised questions considering James’ relationship with Drake.

The two have reportedly been close for 15 years, with Drake revealing King James even flew to Toronto to support him at his release party in 2009. It has been followed by a display of close friendship and Drake including LeBron in numerous of his tracks. In mutual respect, the latter recently posted, “Nothing like 2 heavyweights doing What They Do Best!” over the leak of a diss track allegedly produced by Drake.

Now with the surfaced video, would LeBron’s dance mean he is picking the side of Kendrick Lamar in his lyrical beef with Drake? While the true meaning behind James’ actions remains unknown, the internet is having a field day with speculation.

LeBron James has declared the diss battler winner, fans believe

The diss battle between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has been on for the books. While the 9-track battle may have been ended with Drake’s “The Heart Part 6,” a reference to Lamar’s “The Heart Part 5,’ James’ clip has the internet declaring Lamar the winner.

A fan reacted to the viral post implying the battle is over with the King himself picking Lamar’s side.

A comment next commended King James for having a good taste slash knowledge of hip-hop, siding with the the only musician in his genre to the Pulitzer Prize for Music. The Lakers’ star is no stranger to grooving to Lamar’s work, often a choice during his practice sessions. More recently, is was ‘Like That’.

Another fan was confident and said that LeBron knows who won the battle; further insinuating that Drake, the long-time friend, had been betrayed upon. As aforementioned, James has been named numerous time by Drake in his works, with most notable being 5 am in Toronto. Drake said, “I’m on my King James s***, I’m tryna win here again.” The rapper has even attended many of LeBron’s games, cheering and publicly congratulating him on reaching 30,000 points.

The video of LeBron James dancing has fueled the fire. Is LeBron James’s friendship with Drake over?  We don’t know as of now, but we can say that LeBron James has well managed to insert himself into the middle of a highly publicized hip-hop feud. Whether it’s a playful jab or something more significant remains to be seen.
