Jayson Tatum is currently doing rounds in Nike’s EYBL as Nike’s Jordan line representative. This youth league brings athletes from high schools, colleges, and the professional realm together. It is becoming common for a young athlete to encounter someone like Jayson Tatum. These partnerships are now becoming a medium for promotions. These promotions become a part of an ad campaign by different major brands.

In one of the videos posted by Nike EYBL’s official Instagram handle, the Boston Celtics phenom is with some young college kids. In this promo, basketball players are tying their hands on Top Golf’s nuanced course. The swings look way off and the quality of play is barely amateur. The video is titled “Just because you can hoop doesn’t mean you can golf. 🤣 Top Golf was still a vibe.😎

Amidst the snippets of meals and the fun among the young athletes, Jayson, who is wearing a T-shirt with the Jordan brand’s Jumpman logo, is grinning for most parts and laughing when the hoopers turn golfers. One of the youngsters teases Tatum, stating, “Aye, we gonna beat Duke this year”. Taking a shot at the NBA great’s alma-meter. However, the unfazed Forward asks, “Who you play for?”.

The youngster replies, “I go to Louisville”. Tatum declares, “y’all are terrible right now.” One of the youth’s buddies makes a face that suggests that his friend has been “roasted”.
