After three months of hiatus, NBA fans finally rejoiced as NBA basketball returns. The NBA preseason gives players an opportunity to get up to speed for the long season ahead. And the fans also benefit, as they can watch their beloved team prepare for the first time in three months. The Dallas Mavericks and the Minnesota Timberwolves played each other at the Etihad Arena on October 5th.

The Timberwolves won the hard-fought game, even without their star man Anthony Edwards against the Mavs. The two teams will face each other once again later today, as the Mavs look to bounce back from the loss.

Timberwolves and the Mavericks played out a thrilling match at the Etihad Arena, UAE. The game ended 111-99 in favor of the Wolves, with Karl Anthony Towns scoring 20 points, most for the Wolves. The Mavs gave minutes to both their stars, Kyrie and Luka. Luka Doncic starred for the Mavs, as he out-scored everyone during the game with 25 points. But the Timberwolves star player, Anthony Edwards, missed the game because of an ankle injury he suffered during practice.

Though Edwards’ ankle sprain isn’t believed to be serious, he still remains a doubt for the game later today. As reported by Chris Hine of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Coach Chris Finch hopes Edwards will be able to play in Saturday’s preseason game against Dallas. Minnesota fans would be hoping that they can see their franchise cornerstone return to the court as soon as possible because their hopes rest on Edwards’ shoulders.

Where and When can you watch Wolves vs. Mavs?

Fans can watch most games on NBA TV. For that, they would also have to subscribe to the NBA League Pass. The cost of a subscription would be $14.99 per month and there is also an NBA League Pass premium, which would cost $22.99 per month.
