Anthony Edwards and his team had a snooze fest at the opening event of Day 2 of All-Star weekend. The Minnesota Timberwolves star teamed up with Victor Wembanyama and Paolo Banchero for the All-Star Skills Challenge event. While the home side went off to a flying start, the #1 Picks team failed miserably alongside the All-Star team, eventually attracting mixed reactions from the fans.

The first round of the event had the dribbling and shooting challenge. The All-Star team consisting of Trae Young, Tyrese Maxey, and Scottie Barnes had a shaky start, and they were followed by the #1 Picks team. While a lot was expected from this star-studded team, the trio surprised everyone with their sloppiness. Especially Ant Man, who came in last in the line-up, failed to make a single bucket, and eventually ended up losing the round.

The home side trio comprising, Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin, and Myles Turner, took to the court after Ant Man & Co’s miserable start. They sealed the first round comfortably and opened their account on the scoreboard. Nevertheless, on the other end, the fans were all over the #1 Picks team on the internet.

Considering the amount of talent pooled in the #1 Picks team, the fans expected the team to sweep the event comfortably. Surprisingly, the Wolves’ star was seen using his left hand to shoot the ball from the arc. And he did miss all three of his attempts, causing haywire in the online world.

However, the Pacers sealed it off in the last round when Haliburton dropped a stunning half-court bucket. Following that bucket, he recreated the iconic Reggie Miller choke sign celebration.
