Stephen Curry blew it off the court before his blowout win tonight. After winning the game against the Charlotte Hornets, the superstar opened up about his family golf reunion. The Golden State Warriors guard, who spent his childhood in Charlotte, returned to the city for the game. Before lacing up for the game, he picked his golf club for a friendly match-up against his brother, Seth Curry.

During the post-game interview, Steph revealed that he teamed up with his father, Dell Curry, and went up against his little brother, Seth. When he was asked about the result, he surprised everyone with his response. He said, “He (Seth) is on the golf power rank… He’s climbing pretty quick. He took the money home yesterday. Won’t let it happen in the next season.”

Over the years, Stephen Curry has established himself as an ardent golfer during his leisure. He has won several trophies in his small stint off the court. Most recently, during the 2023 NBA off-season, he won the American celebrity golf tournament in Nevada. He did not just win the tournament but also made the US sports world turn its attention towards him with a special move.

The superstar dropped a Hole-in-One during his run to win the tournament. Many celebrities across the globe took to their social media handles and lauded Steph for his insane feat. Moreover, many reporters even jokingly asked if he would shift his career to professional golfing after that million-dollar swing.

While he’s an established golfer to the outside world, he has to fight his way through within the family. The Curry family has their own champion league and Steph isn’t the champion.

Steph’s father, Dell Curry, spent most of his NBA career with the Hornets. So the superstar spent most of his childhood in North Carolina and now that the Hornets roped in Seth Curry, it has turned into a perfect opportunity for a family reunion.

Moreover, the Curry family takes golfing a little more seriously. Speaking of the family golfing routine, Steph once said, “Its special for the whole Curry crew. We got a championship belt that I made last year,” to a reporter for Sports Illustrated.

So the Dubs superstar has a task in hand to take care of during the 2024 off-season. Curry may have to bring out his inner Michael Jordan to win back his title.
