When the Last Dance documentary came out, the world got to know some untold stories about the Bulls. It showcased the journey of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls and their wild stories in the show. But when the show came out, it robbed a seven-time All-Star of his cool Dennis Rodman story.

The Last Dance highlighted the last season of the Bulls’ dynasty and the challenges they faced throughout the season. It also featured stories about Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and other stars from their earlier years. It also featured some wild and unheard stories about the legends.

One of them includes a crazy story about Dennis Rodman. The Worm had joined the Bulls in 1995 and had found great success. The Bulls won three titles with Rodman and he had a huge part to play in the title runs. He also had a wild story which Jordan narrated in the doc. And this ruined seven-time All-Star Blake Griffin‘s “cool” story.

In an episode in the documentary, Jordan tells a story where Rodman leaves the team in the middle of the season. Rodman left the Bulls after he got permission to go on vacation from Phil Jackson. He would go on to the party and go to Las Vegas and would also appear in WWE.

Griffin who was a Jordan athlete knew about this story long before it came out in the doc. He had learned about this when he met Jordan a couple of times and he would go around telling a cool story about Rodman. But since the doc came out, the entire world got to know about it.

Griffin said, “For so long, that was my go-to. People like, ‘What’s Jordan like?’ And I’m like, ‘I got something cool, and here is this story.’ And I would give them this Dennis Rodman story. And then as he started to tell this story during The Last Dance… I was like, ‘I don’t have a cool story anymore.'” He added, “Now, I’ve got to think of something else.”

People loved to hear stories about Jordan and some of the greatest teams of all time. So when The Last Dance came out, Griffin was robbed of his cool story. Hopefully, he can cover it up with some of his own stories.
