It seems like the Golden State Warriors are going through a healing process at the moment. Sports broadcaster Kylen Mills recently took to Twitter to announce that Warriors star Stephen Curry arranged a conversational session among his teammates. Mills wrote that in case the team is able to move past the recent incident involving Draymond Green and Jordan Poole, Curry will be the one to be credited.

Mills tweeted the new development on October 12, 2022. However, fans seem to have a different point of view altogether.

The Warriors have been under the scrutiny of the media and NBA fans for quite some time now. Amidst the Green-Poole physical altercation and the leaked video, the franchise has certainly gone through a lot in the past few days. After Green struck Poole, he was meant to take time off for an indefinite period of time. Green had announced that he wanted to stay away and give his team some time to heal.

“I do want to give my team some space. I want to give Jordan some space, and then also take a few days and continue to work on myself… take some time to let everything breathe,said Green.

Furthermore, during a press conference, Warriors GM Bob Myers said that Green had apologized to his team and the punishment would be handled internally.

Stephen Curry works on healing the Warriors

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr announced on October 12, 2022, that Draymond Green had been fined for his actions. However, it has been decided that Green will not be suspended and will take part in the team practice from October 13. Apparently, both Green and Jordan Poole met and talked it out along with others who were also involved in the altercation.

Furthermore, Stephen Curry has reportedly organized a get-together among his teammates as part of the healing process. Additionally, Kerr said that fellow Golden State Warriors star Kevon Looney also helped the team keep it together.

“He’s become the moral compass of our team. I’ll ride with Loon forever, he’s a special man,” said Kerr.

Warriors fans will likely want the team to be in great shape ahead of the regular season. As the defending champions, they sure do have a lot of expectations to live up to and fans will be hoping that they get past these issues as soon as possible.
