The Los Angeles Lakers vs the Denver Nuggets was box office. Although the Nuggets demolished the Lakers by a 4-0 sweep, every match was a nail-biter. Los Angeles tried their best to bag a win in all four games, however, fell short each time. Longtime Lakers fan and veteran actor Jack Nicholson was always there at the Crypto.com arena to show his support, and so were the Jokic brothers for the Nuggets.

After the Lakers’ three consecutive losses, things got a bit chippy between the 86-year-old and Nikola Jokic‘s brothers. League icon and former Lakers center, Shaquille O’Neal, decided to throw some light on what it shows about the 2-time MVP on his podcast.

The 4-time champion has often used ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq’ as a platform to share his views on modern-day NBA. Although he may have been a bit partial toward the Lakers, the 2000 MVP couldn’t help but give the Denver Nuggets their credit. After showing his respect for the Serbian center, Shaq decided to share his views on Strahinja and Nemanja Jokic, the brothers of the Denver center, and what their off-court antics convey.

It’s no doubt how big of a Laker fan the 3-time Academy winner Nicholson is. This season especially, the 86-year-old has made a courtside appearance in the majority of the playoff games. Game 3 against the Nuggets, however, turned bitter for Nicholson as he had to witness a loss and a lot of trash-talking from the Jokic brothers.

Shaq believes the Jokic brothers have the audacity to trash-talk Nicholson as they know how much the Nuggets center is capable of. The 4-time champion shared in his podcast, “You know what’s crazy. I figured something out. I saw a clip of his brothers talking smack to Jack Nicholson. You see how big that is”

He further added, “They got two big brothers like that, that equals he ain’t no punk. That’s what I mean. That’s why he playing like that because he ain’t no punk”

Notably, this is not the first time the Jokic brothers have found themselves in an altercation.

Jokic brothers’ altercation with the Suns

Strahinja Jokic and Nemanja Jokic are two giants just like the 6’11 superstar. Jokic’s brothers have been two pillars in his life. Every postseason, the two fly from Serbia to show their support to the triple-double master.

Previously, the Jokic brothers had a verbal altercation with Devin Booker after the Suns put an end to the Nuggets’ postseason run. Moreover, after the 2-time MVP shoved Markieff Morris in a physical fight, the Jokic brothers made sure they were in the arena to back their brother. In addition, they also created a Twitter account just to defend Jokic.

The Finals are coming up in a few days, and the Jokic brothers are expected to make a courtside appearance and would be hoping their star brother to get his hands on a ring.
