NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is famous for his kindness and generosity. Apart from being one of the best basketball players ever, Shaq is also a successful businessperson and a philanthropist. Recently, Shaq and his team raised around $1 million in 35 minutes. The Shaq Foundation will use the money raised to help children all across America.

Shaq and his team raise huge funds in record time!

Shaquille O’Neal entered the world of NFT with the launch of the “Shaq Gives Back” project. A total of $1 million have been raised in 35 minutes, which will be donated to the “Shaquille O’Neal Foundation” to help undeserving youths.

The “Boardroom” company by Kevin Durant and his manager had announced the launch of Shaq’s NFT.

Non-fungible tokens or NFTs are the latest trends to hit the world of basketball. Shaquille O’Neal joins the likes of Stephen Curry to launch their own NFTs. Curry recently released 2,974 NFTs featuring replicas of the shoes he wore on his record-breaking night where he became the player with the most 3 pointers.

Shaquille O’Neal and Philanthropy

Shaq loves giving back to society and has many foundations and projects set up to help people. Apart from his commentaries on games, the other thing which ends up becoming viral on the internet is videos of him helping random people.

“A lot of people describe it as giving back. I describe it as doing what you’re supposed to do. If I’m somewhere and see somebody’s needing something, I’ll take care of it. My favorite places to go to are Best Buy and furniture stores.” Shaquille O’Neal mentioned in an interview with PEOPLE.

Shaq once famously paid off for a man which went viral on the internet. “I seen a guy come in — he was just so shy and he was saying, ‘Hey, how much do I owe to pay off my ring?” Shaq describes the moment he buys an engagement ring for the man.
