Joel Embiid says the 76ers need someone like P.J. Tucker

Last season, the 76ers had a rough playoff run as losing Joel Embiid for a few games had a drastic effect on them. In Round 1 of that series against the Toronto Raptors, they were leading 3-0. However; they were pushed to a Game 6, which they won, before eventually losing the Eastern Conference Semifinals 4-2 to the Miami Heat. In addition, Embiid mentioned at one point that the team needs someone like Tucker as well.

“Nothing against what we have,” Embiid told reporters following Game 6. “It’s just the truth. We never have P.J. Tucker. That’s really what I’m trying to say. I think physicality, once you get to the playoffs in the later rounds, you need that. You need those guys that are really tough.”
