The Los Angeles Lakers and their woes for the season continue. The 2022-23 season for the Lakers has been nothing but a struggle. The yellow and purple jerseys seem to pick up form at times but can’t seem to get across the line, no matter how hard they try. Recently, LeBron James and co. fought hard against the conference leaders Boston Celtics, but fell short in OT. Naturally, the team is looking for solutions and one of their players is also looking for a way out.

Patrick Beverley’s 2022-23 season is nothing short of disappointing, and fans are disappointed. Recent rumors suggest that Beverley wants to go back to Minnesota Timberwolves, and fans are all for it.

The Los Angeles Lakers and their roadblocks to this season’s playoffs are plenty. In fact, their playoff hopes are dead, according to many. However, that wouldn’t stop the team from trying.  The solutions include trading a few players, and an underperforming Patrick Beverley might be one of them.

Patrick Beverley reportedly wants out of the Lakers, and most probably to his previous team, the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 34-year-old Laker signed a $13 Million contract with the Timberwolves before being traded to the Lakers. The fans are not exactly bummed by the news, as they are, for lack of other words, ‘tired’ of his performances.

The Lakers’ point guard’s performances have not been helpful for the team, to say the least. Beverley has been lacking in offensive duties with an FG percentage of 30.3 compared to his 37.3% career average.

Some fans are adamant about wanting an exit, suggesting the only way the Lakers make the playoffs is if Beverley doesn’t play. The Lakers star is not exactly a fan favorite if it wasn’t clear until now. Some fans mentioned how they were confused the minute the trade was made.

The 37-year-old might be in the final few stages of his career. The NBA legend ‘s longevity cannot be predicted. Even with the sub-par performances of his team, James still hasn’t lost his class.
