No matter what he does, the 4x NBA Championship winner is on top of his game, whether it’s singing, basketball, dancing, or even cooking. Taking his business to a new level was a result of his passion for cooking or to be more precise, his passion for eating a great meal.

Besides being a four-time NBA champion, he has a business that includes restaurants, gyms, and more. In addition to investing in food chains and making a great meal in his name, Shaq has been a big name in the food business, but recently he surprised his fans with an exciting new project.

Shaq has released his cookbook where you can find his favorite meals. According to Shaquille himself, “I’m an avid eater.” In spite of a $6.6 million effort, O’Neal revealed his favorite recipes, which include Ramen, Hotdogs, and Fried Chicken.

In his role as the founder of Big Chicken in Las Vegas and a Papa John’s board member of the franchisee, you can clearly see that he learned a lot about food from the food industry. In an interview with Shaq, he described the journey he took to create a cookbook for his fans. He explained that up until now he had been, “sitting behind the counter eating.” As a result of the pandemic, he had to cook for himself since the chef had to stay at home with his family.

“It was me and, like, 11 kids,” he said. “First it was ramen—kids love ramen. Then it was hot dogs, and then it was spaghetti, baked chicken, and fried chicken. So I was like, You know what? Cooking is fun!

Because Shaq did not have a chef, he had to make his own food and ask for instructions over the phone. Through all these years, he has gained a lot of knowledge about cooking and what he enjoys doing.

At the end of the conversation, Shaq informed the audience that he had made the book with his cooking team. “Every recipe in the book, I’ve tried and cooked with their assistance,” said Shaq.
