The Miami Heat have had an inspiring journey so far. They began as a mere play-in team with little to no expectations of competing for the title. Yet, under the dominant reign of Jimmy Butler, the franchise stands one win away from the NBA Finals. They beat MVPs, the best team in the NBA, and now could trump the reigning runners-up from last season. Shockingly, Butler and Co. did all this without one of their key stars throughout the playoffs.

After a horrific injury in the First Round series against the Milwaukee Bucks, the 23-year-old had to undergo surgery. Fortunately, the Heat’s improbable run in these playoffs could give him enough time to be back on the floor once again.

The Heat star hasn’t progressed onto contact training just yet. Nonetheless, if Jimmy Butler and the Heat do beat Boston and make it to the NBA Finals, the scoring blazer could join them.

The 23-year-old had another career year averaging over 20 points per game in the regular season. He is a major part of the heat offense, even being the primary option at times.
