Shaquille O’Neal’s fame as a rapper is second only to his illustrious stint as a ballplayer. The four-time NBA champion has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the hip-hop world, like the late rap legend Christopher Wallace a.k.a Notorious B.I.G. Besides, O’Neal got featured in one of Michael Jackson’s songs as a rapper. Moreover, his album, Shaq Diesel has gone platinum. Even in this day and age, Shaq is keeping that hip-hop legacy very much alive.

Shaquille O’Neal has now featured alongside up-and-coming rap sensation Lex Bratcher, and Scar Lip on the latest rap track titled ‘Bodies Freestyle.‘ The track has not been released yet but features similar beats and some lines from ‘T**t Sh*t’. However, a brief portion of ‘Bodies Freestyle’ featuring the Los Angeles Lakers legend is now doing the rounds on Instagram.

The post opens with an image of Shaq, on which it is written, “This is why Shaq is the greatest basketball player to ever rap.” The fourth slide has Scar Lip rapping a verse from Megan Thee Stallion’s cult hit. This latest Instagram post has prompted thousands of NBA fans to rush in with praises for Shaq’s much-awaited hip-hop comeback.

It is a fact universally acknowledged that Shaquille O’Neal has turned everything he touched into gold. With his latest hip-hop endeavor, O’Neal seems to have restated the fact. Such is the amount of praise the ‘Shaq cult’ has showered on the latest Instagram update. Alluding to the 51-year-old’s versatility, a fan commented, “It’s really hard to hate anything Shaq does.”
