NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal has been highly critical of Kyrie Irving for his actions, which led to his suspension. Shaq has called Irving an idiot on national TV and he blasted him for his actions. But this attracted criticism from a few fans who pointed out Shaq’s mistakes in the past. And Shaq has responded to his critics days before Irving issued another public apology.

Irving got into trouble after he posted a link to a movie that had an anti-Semitic story. He subsequently failed to apologize or show remorse for his actions in a press conference. After facing heavy pressure to take action, the Nets finally condemned Irving, and they suspended him without pay for a minimum of five games. Irving is yet to return to action to date.

But Irving apologized for his actions when he was suspended. He again apologized and reiterated that he is not anti-Semitic and said that he is going through a learning process. He admitted a lot of hurt could have been avoided and apologized to the Jewish community again.

Shaq’s words on Irving were brutal, and he refused to tone it down. And this attracted a ton of criticism. Many said that this resulted in his suspension and they attacked Shaq because of that. However, Shaq clarified that he never said that Irving needs to be suspended. He also said that it was unprofessional by the Nets and Joe Tsai that they put Irving’s punishment in the public domain.

He also fired back at the critics who attacked him for his remarks. He said, ” Listen, I don’t give a f**k what they do. I stand on what I say and I say what I say, I mean what I say…All these people commenting, please don’t think I care cause I don’t “

“You need to understand something about me… I’ve been criticized since, nine years old , I’m 50 years old, I got experience in this sh**. You ain’t gonna hurt my feelings”

Shaq said that he has learned not to argue and not to care about what others say. He will continue to say what he says and do what he wants to do and not bother about what other people say.
