Goes up against a young but impressive Memphis team, they Lakers are holding their nerves this time around. Now the purple and gold have one task at hand which is to finish the job this time around. And Carmelo Anthony is doing his job at its finest.

The Lakers have been in a better position in all their games to this point. They had a significant lead against the Golden State Warriors bur threw it away at the end. They had the game close with Phoenix before they went all over the place and failed to score points. However, this has been the story of the season for the Lakers so far.

Carmelo Anthony puts on a show for the Lakers

LeBron James has had a rather quiet night with only 11 points so far. Carmelo Anthony is hot from the bench with 16 points coming from him. Their defense still looks unsettled, but the Lakers are slowly getting there.
