The Los Angeles Lakers come into the Staples Center once again after another overtime win. This time they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves who are coming off a loss. While things seemed to go smoothly until the Wolves decided to attack. Notably, former Clipper, Patrick Beverley went off and fans took the opportunity to troll the purple and gold.

Lakers fall big time in the third quarter

As the Lakers kept their at half, the story took a turn in the third quarter. Scoring just 12 points in the quarter, the Lakers struggled to get a bucket. On the other hand, the Minnesota attacked like a pack of Wolves led by center, Karl Anthony Towns.

The Los Angeles Lakers went cold throughout the third quarter, Anthony Davis has scored 22 points to go with 3 steals and 3 blocks. Russell Westbrook, the only other Lakers player in double digits with 20 points. Carmelo Anthony had a rare poor night shooting just 1-8 from downtown.

The Timberwolves outscored the Lakers by 28 in the third quarter, scoring a massive 40 points. Karl Anthony Towns was on fire scoring 18 points in the third alone. Patrick Beverley started the momentum scoring 7 points in the quarter. The Wolves go into the 4th with a 23 point lead.

The Lakers lacked a proper shot through the quarter. Despite having many chances to drive, they chose to shoot. This did not end in their favor as they went cold all quarter long.
