4x NBA champion and Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal dominated the NBA in the 90s and 2000s. O’Neal was a 7’1” monster, weighing over 300 pounds, with the skill and finesse of a guard in the post. O’Neal’s supreme physical gifts, combined with his superior talent, made him an unstoppable player. However, O’Neal once got into trouble in his youth when he used his ‘Hulk-like’ powers.

Many fans regard Shaquille O’Neal as one of the greatest players ever to play the game. O’Neal dominated his opponents with his size and strength. He was an absolute wrecking ball when he stepped up for the Lakers. Even growing up, O’Neal was bigger than everyone around him. However, in one incident, O’Neal had to spend a night in jail after displaying his monstrous power.

Shaquille O’Neal landed in jail after breaking a car like Braun Strowman in 2019

In January 2019, tensions between the top wrestlers were high on a WWE RAW night leading up to the Royal Rumble and the Wrestlemania. At the time, Baron Corbin and Braun Strowman were having a major feud. In a bizarre turn of events, Corbin enraged the powerhouse that night and made some bold claims that didn’t sit well with the 6’8” beast.

After the exchange on the main stage, enraged Strowman chased after Corbin to the backstage. In a culmination of fury, Strowman ended up taking out his anger by toppling over WWE CEO Vince McMahon’s limousine. A former Strongman and bodybuilding veteran, Strowman faced the consequences for the same. He received a hefty fine following his actions.

Similarly, Shaquille O’Neal once had to face the consequences of his Hulk-like strength. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, O’Neal revealed how he had once destroyed a car by hand in his youth. O’Neal further revealed that the vehicle was a Beige Toyota Corolla, and was in fact originally stolen.

When O’Neal was ‘Destroying’ the car with his bare hands, the cops rolled by. Fortunately for young Shaq, the cops who were patrolling that night were his uncles. Thus, O’Neal was spared from legal trouble, but his uncles took him to jail and imprisoned him for an entire day to teach the young ‘Monster’ a lesson.

After all, Shaquille O’Neal and Braun Strowman do have something in common. And it’s more than just their powerhouse bodies!
