Despite having a loaded roster, the Clippers were disappointing in the playoffs and didn’t even make it to the Conference finals. After taking a 3-1 lead in the series against the Nuggets, it was expected that Kawhi would lead the side to an easy win.

But somehow ‘The Klaw‘, who is known for how clutch he is, missed out on closing out the series. The Clippers had a big lead going into the fourth quarter in every game they lost. However, they could not close out the game in the fourth quarter every time.

Can Kawhi Leonard & co. win the championship?

Last season was probably the best opportunity for the Clippers to finally win a championship. The Lakers were not that deep, and all the cards were in the Clippers’ favor.

Coming into this season Kawhi and co. will face a much deeper Lakers’ roster, who have also added former center Montrezl Harrell to their side.

Kawhi, along with Paul George, has a point to prove this season. ‘The Klaw’ has won a championship in every team he has played. He will hope that he can do the same with this Clippers side.

The side has also added some reinforcements in Nicolas Batum as their backup power forward and Serge Ibaka, who replaces Harrell to start at the center position.

They also brought in Luke Kennard, who is an able backup point guard. Kawhi’s co-star Paul George has already committed his future to the team, putting pressure on ‘the Klaw’ to commit his future to the team. The 4-time All-Star has a player option next season. If he declines that, he will enter unrestricted free agency.
