The Memphis Grizzlies on the other hand have been unfortunate. They were already riddled with injury. The only bright star with them was their sophomore Ja Morant wh0 suffered from an ankle injury against the Nets. Can the Grizzlies cope up with this?

Boston Celtics injury updates and predicted lineup

The Boston Celtics are playing with a depleted side from the start of the season. Their third star, Kemba Walker, has been out with a knee injury. He is nowhere near to full fitness and is set to miss 2-4 weeks of action.

Apart from that, the Celtics are seeing their backup center Tristan Thompson sit out due to a right hamstring strain. Javonte Green is also out due to health and protocol reasons. Their talisman Jayson Tatum is also doubtful for the clash against the Grizzlies.

So far, the Celtics have overly depended on their two stars Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. As they are facing a depleted Grizzlies lineup, it might be a good opportunity to limit their superstars’ playing time.

Memphis Grizzlies injury updates and predicted lineup

The Grizzlies suffered from a crushing setback when their sophomore star Ja Morant suffered from an ankle injury in their last game against the Brooklyn Nets. Morant is set to miss at least 3-5 weeks due to this ankle injury.

As of now, the Grizzlies are dealing with several injury issues prior to their game against the Celtics. Jontay Porter, Killian Tillie, Xavier Tillman, Justice Winslow and De’Anthony Melton are all listed out of lineup against the Celtics.

It will be a huge challenge for the Grizzlies to be competitive now, given the host of injured players they have.

The injury to Ja Morant was the last thing the Grizzlies needed right now. This injury makes them one of the most depleted rosters in the NBA, and thus the Celtics are clear favorites here.

This will be a great opportunity for Brad Stevens to rest his stars and give his younger players to perform. If Brown or Tatum don’t play, only then will the Grizzlies have a chance.
