Two teams from the top five defensive teams in the league come up against each other on Sunday. The Pacers will be coming into the game on a four-game winning streak. After winning against Philadelphia 76ers, the Pacers won back-to-back games against Minnesota Timberwolves- home and away.
In their last win over the Timberwolves, the Pacers’ T.J. Warren scored a game-high 28 points scoring 11 of 18 from the floor. Four other Indiana players registered double figures in scoring.
With 27 wins and a 0.643 record, Indiana Pacers are currently fifth in the Eastern Conference.
They will be travelling to Denver on Sunday to face a Nuggets side currently with a 0.707 record. They are second in Western Conference, six wins shy of leaders Los Angeles Lakers. The Nuggets have won their last three games and five of their last six games. Their last game was a thrilling overtime win over Golden State Warriors. In the 134-131 win, their star centre, Nikola Jokic almost had a triple-double with 23 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. Two other players, Michael Porter Jr. and Mason Plumlee, registered a double-double for the Nuggets while their guard Will Barton finished with a game-high 31.
