Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has been out for a while now. The 31-year old suffered a hand injury early in the season is yet to play since then.

The Athletic has reported on Sunday that the Curry is eyeing to make his return on March 1.

Curry injured his left hand on October 30. He immediately underwent a surgery, when the Wariros ruled him out for three months. Later, a few reports of Curry being out for season were followed by a few suggesting his return in the season.

In December, Stephen Curry made it to the Warriors bench, although not as a fully fit player, bringing some relief to the fans.

If he does make a return on March 1, he will start against Washington Wizards with 22 games still to go.

Steve Kerr also expects Stephen Curry to return this season

Earlier, Golden State Warriors manager Steve Kerr also believed Curry would make a return before the end of the season. The Warriors have been struggling this season, with initially Klay Thompson and later Stephen Curry along with him, out with injuries.

Ker had said, while he believed Curry might return before the end of the season, Thompson might not.

“Our fans deserve to see him play. He is dying to play. Our young players want to play with him So, if we could get him back before the end of the season, it would be great,” he had said.

The Warriors fans might have something to cheer for if he does make a return in this season. After 44 games in the season, Warriors have managed just 10 wins. Their 0.227 record is the worst in the league and are placed bottom of the Western Conference.
