Gilbert Arenas needs a few seconds to share his annoyance over a few things. And this time on his radar is a $2 Billion worth rapper. In fact, the former Wizards star also shared his displeasure over Netflix and their Christmas NFL streams. On the surface level, it might be hard to understand why exactly Agent Zero is unhappy. But his reasoning is quite simple, even though the entire Gil’s Arena was not fully behind his scathing rants.
“Guess we won’t be seeing Gil at a Kanye show anytime soon.” The X page of the 3x All-Star shared the clip, where he stated, “I don’t want to watch that sh– man.” His rant started when Nick Young asked him if he ever attended any Kanye West concert. “I don’t want to see him coming from some ceiling on some mfi’ng star and sh–. Half the song is gospel and I don’t know what the fu– he’s going to do. I pay my money to listen to certain songs. Right, I’m sorry, I got a playlist that I want to listen to.”
During his rant, Gilbert Arenas also quoted a line from Jay-Z’s Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem). “That’s not even the fkn song I came here to listen to, OKAY?” Speaking about Jay-Z, how can one forget his real-life partner? The former Warriors star also dissed Beyonce, but more importantly, it was Netflix that faced major heat from Arenas.

“I mean, I don’t give a f–k about halftime. People taking pi-s and sh– at halftime you don’t give a f–k about what those two ladies is doing before the game or after the game. We’re there for the game.” It is very clear that the 42-year-old was not a fan of Netflix NFL Christmas Day games. He stated that during half-time, he is not locked in for the performance. That’s when the WNBA star Lexie Brown interjected. “You’re not the viewer they are trying to capture.” Arenas wholeheartedly agreed, yet stayed true to his stance.
Gilbert Arenas once shared a special feeling about Beyonce
Recently, Nielsen shared the viewership record as Netflix set records as the most-streamed NFL games in U.S. history. According to reports, 65 million U.S. viewers tuned in for at least one minute of one of the two NFL games. You won’t be surprised to see how Beyonce held her own during the halftime performance. Viewership for Ravens-Texans peaked with the Beyoncé Bowl. The nearly 13-minute halftime performance averaged over 27 million viewers!

So, there is definitely still a lot of hype for the Grammy Winner. Two years ago, even Gilbert Arenas believed in the hype they generated and shared a special memory: “Beyonce and Jay-Z in the front row. That’s really them! When you get there and you sit on and they call your name.” He spoke about his first All-Star game when they were in attendance and expressed his pleasure at seeing them and other NBA players under one roof.
Even though he may like them to attend games, the 3x All-Star is certainly not a fan of them performing when he is watching sports. And maybe that’s why he doesn’t attend concerts since the performances are not curated to his taste.
