Dwight Howard found the cutest way to wish his mother on her special day. The former Lakers star shares a great relationship with his family, and not just with them. D12 is always seen with a cool and loving attitude. He has his own reason for that. For his mother’s birthday, the 8x NBA All-Star made a special Instagram post and cleverly involved all his followers to help him present an adorable birthday wish as well.

The former Lakers star shared a picture of his mother, which appears to be a recent one, in his Instagram post. Sheryl Howard wore a shiny princess crown on her head and a sash with the letters RTH visible on it. We can assume it read “Happy Birthday.” But it’s the caption where Dwight Howard urged all his followers to wish her to make her special day even more memorable.

Naturally, fans flooded the comments section to share their birthday wishes. The champ had recently made headlines and gone viral on social media for his performance on the celebrity dance show, Dancing with the Stars. His mother also took the time to make an appearance to support and cheer for her son.

It was a great dance by the former NBA player that night. Dwight Howard’s performance required him and his dance partner to wear a 70s-inspired look. And that saw Howard wear a bob-cut wig that became the highlight of the show. He got his lowest point 23/40 but as the fun-loving basketball star he is, he was just happy to be able to perform. He might have gotten eliminated before the semi-finals, but he made an impact becoming fans’ favorite.
