The Chicago Bulls recently Ring of Honor saw numerous legends together under one roof. Notably, the Bulls’ first Ring of Honor class included the entire 1995-1996 Bulls team, emphasizing the collective achievements of this iconic roster. While some championship winning teammates reunited after decades, Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman and Scottie Pippen decided were nowhere to be seen. Though the notable figures were missed, the Chicago Bulls Ring of Honor gala night successfully reignited memories of the triumphs, providing plenty of insight into one of the greatest teams in NBA history.

Though their greatest player ever could not attend, MJ did participate digitally.  His absence did not diminish the event entirely as he sent a heartfelt and special message expressing gratitude for the honor bestowed upon him.  The recorded message was shared ahead of the celebration. I want to thank Jerry Reinsdorf and Michael Reinsdorf for starting the Ring of Honor,” Michael Jordan said. “I am so bummed that I can’t be there tonight, but I don’t want that to stop the fun that you guys are going to have.

Days before the event, there was speculation swirling regarding the attendance of both Jordan and Scottie Pippen at the same event. People were eagerly looking forward to the encounter, given the duo’s strained relationship in recent years. As per fans, ‘The Last Dance’ series and Jordan’s son’s relationship with Pippen’s ex-wife were all possible reasons for the former teammates to avoid a public reunion.

Along with Mike and Pippen, there was another legend who missed the event. During the historic run of Bulls in the 90s, Dennis Rodman was one of the most phenomenal stars alongside Pippen and Jordan. Just days ago, he was spotted at the United Center at one of the Bulls’ games.

While the gala night celebrated the Bulls’ legacy, these three were missed. However, despite the legend’s absence, some heartwarming reunions melted fans’ hearts. Do you remember the former Chicago Bulls player Luc Longley?

3x NBA champion Luc Longley, who had seemingly vanished from public view, made a surprising and welcome appearance at the event. The Gaze Medal winner did not miss out on the grand celebration. 

The gala also witnessed a reunion of coaching masters Phil Jackson and former Bulls sharpshooter Steve Kerr. The two were instrumental in the Bulls’ championship successes. A clip of the duo’s exchange is winning people’s hearts.

Kerr later took to the stage to introduce his former teammates, Toni Kukoc, Dennis Rodman, MJ and Pippen.  The night, punctuated by these wonderful and heartwarming reunions, allowed fans and attendees to relive the magic of the Bulls’ past.
