When your stage name is Nina Drama, you bring it. That’s exactly what Nina Marie Daniele packed into one interview with Charles Barkley. The NBA legend stopped by the Power Slap, perhaps to check if he can handle the pressure. The host, Nina Drama, asked the logical question – who would be Chuck’s opponent?

She first asked Sir Charles if he felt he could take on any of the contestants at Power Slap 6 in the Durango. His response was an emphatic “hell no.” Then when she asked if there’s somebody he could easily beat in a Power Slap showdown, Chuck had an answer. “I’ll fight Kenny.” That’s Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith, his co-analyst at Inside the NBA who didn’t deserve this atrocity.

Yet Barkley insisted, “I’d have a slap contest with Kenny ’cause Kenny’s soft.” Hilariously, Nina tried to set the stage for this Power Slap showdown between the former NBA stars. “Kenny I don’t know if you heard that…” Before she could tattle on Chuck, he said, “Kenny knows he soft.”

Well that changed Daniele’s tune. After confirming with the production staff that she can use some explicit language, she got provocative. “Kenny, you soft motherf*cker, Charles is coming for your a**.” We’d love to see how Kenny responds when Sir Charles rolls into Studio J on Thursday.

This was just one of the stops for Chuck’s eventful weekend. Kenny Smith was right there when he revealed his plans for the Big Game Weekend.

Charles Barkley’s weekend ‘slapped’

Charles Barkley usually enjoys the Super Bowl with his friends in Las Vegas. Ahead of this year’s clash, Ernie Johnson asked him on Inside the NBA what his plans were. Chuck confirmed he’s going to hang out with UFC mogul, Dana white.

As he said, Chuck was at Dana White’s sold-out Power Slap 6 event in Sin City. Joining him was his “man crush” Tom Brady and also fellow 49ers supporter, Travis Scott. The star-studded event figurately slapped!

While Travis Scott sported 49ers-themed Jumpman Jacks backed by Michael Jordan, Barkley put his money on the 49ers. For the second year in a row, he lost his Super Bowl bet because of Patrick Mahomes  who made the game-winning shot to end the overtime game 25-22 for the Chiefs. “Soft” Kenny will have the last laugh at Chuck’s misery when they’re face-to-face next.
