Are Lakers After Steph Curry & Giannis Antetokounmpo? Management Unhappy With Anthony Davis & LeBron James Claims Reports

Los Angeles Lakers seemed to have intensified their talks with Golden State Warriors and the Milwaukee Bucks in an attempt to lure their star men. Reports suggest that the Lakers have been looking to add Stephen Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo to their roster. The reports emerged after rumors suggested that the Lakers not getting along well with their current stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis have led the Los Angeles Lakers this season

As a franchise, the Lakers have been experiencing one of the worst decades in their history. They have not won a Championship since 2010 and not been in playoffs since the retirement of Kobe Bryant. Also, Bryant’s retirement left the team without a superstar. A void that has been impossible to fill.

In 2018, the Lakers acquired LeBron James from Cleveland Cavaliers. However, the roster was still incomplete as the Lakers continued to struggle. Last summer, the Lakers brought in Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans in a trade deal that saw a few of their players move to the latter. The signing of Davis raised expectations among the fans. The prospect of an exciting partnership between Davis and James took root.

They lived up to the hype as the season went on. While James has been the league’s top provider with over 10 assists per game, Davis has been consistent on both ends of the court. Davis has averaged an impressive 26.1 points and 9.1 rebounds per game this season. Their performances have led the Lakers to the top of the Western Conference with a praise-worthy record.

Los Angeles Lakers could go for Giannis Antetokounmpo & Stephen Curry

While Davis and James are impressive, recent reports suggest that they haven’t been doing well with the organization. Once they leave. the Lakers will have two important shoes to fill. In an attempt to fill the side, they are looking to sign former MVPs Giannis and Curry as per reports.

Both Antetokounmpo and Curry are undeniably one of the best in the league and can be a huge addition to the Lakers’ side.

Happy April Fools day

Thanks for having a read, but the above article was a Fool’s day prank. Neither of James, Davis, Antetokounmpo or Curry would be moving anywhere. To stay safe amidst the pandemic, everyone is advised to do the same.- not move anywhere.
