The Louisiana State University Lady Tigers’ stretch four Angel Reese has amassed a following on par with some of the WNBA players. Reese is no longer just a college student but has attained star status. She has been meeting other celebrities – people she could only wish to meet someday when a kid.

In a recent interview Reese opened up on who she would want to meet next.

Who does Angel Reese wants to meet?

Angel Reese appeared in a SEC Tip-Off interview recently and shared the next person she would like to meet. Her head coach Kim Mulkey had accompanied her to the show, and everyone was all ears to hear the name of the next celebrity Reese would like to meet. The reporter humorously asked her to share the names of the celebrities she hadn’t met.

Even though Reese has met a lot of veterans there are surely quite a few with whom her desire to meet wouldn’t have been fulfilled yet. So, who did she pick as her next first-time meeting?

“I can’t say one that I haven’t met. But I want to meet Michael Jordan. That’s my next person,” Reese revealed.

Reese herself shot to fame after the swimsuit deal with Sports Illustrated. Her NIL valuation increased to almost $1.4 million, and she became a household name. She also gained a lot of popularity for her on-court antiques during the NCAA Championship 2023. Her rivalry with Iowa Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark made headlines as Reese did the ‘You can’t see me’ gesture against Clark.

Post her shoot to fame, Reese signed a barrage of NIL deals. The recent most popular deal was signed when the NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal became the President for Basketball for the sporting giant, Reebok. In order to revive their global image, Reebok signed Shaq who inked a deal with Reese as his first move.

Reese reminisced on the show of their meeting when the LSU’s assistant head coach Bob Starkey had introduced her to the 4x NBA Champion. In addition to Shaq, Reese has also met her favorite pop stars – Beyonce and Jay Z.

Meanwhile, the NCAA Women’s basketball season will commence from November 6 and the LSU Lady Tigers will contest against the Colorado Buffaloes.

Who will Angel Reese compete against in the season’s opener?

This is first time the Buffs will contest a ranked team in the season’s opener. While the LSU Lady Tigers clinched the coveted Championship title last season, the Buffs could only make it to the Sweet Sixteen where they were defeated by the runners-up Iowa Hawkeyes.
