Addressing the media, Head coach Andy Enfield provided further details about Bronny’s comeback. He said, “It’s just going to be a feel for how the game’s going, how he’s playing, how he feels physically. Sunday will be very emotional for him as well as his teammates. But as the game progresses, I think he’ll settle in, and we’ll just play it half by half and see where he is.” This is the first time in five months that we’ll get to see the eldest son of NBA icon LeBron James making his appearance on the court.
Unfortunately, Bronny suffered from a cardiac arrest during a practice session at USC on July 24. Following this, he had to undergo treatment for his congenital heart defect. As per sources, the freshman guard will be coming off the bench on his debut for the Trojans. USC made an official announcement about his he was availability on Sunday morning. Apparently, he was cleared by the medical staff after his first two full-contact practices on Thursday and Friday.
Bronny wasted no time in showcasing his high-flying moves in front of the crowd. Minutes after his introduction, he prevented a dunk which was good enough to astonish the King himself.
