Brazilian playmaker Neymar Jr is currently recovering from an ankle injury which ruled him out of the Copa America. Now, the 27-year old will return to Paris Saint-Germain while the team faces Argentina in the semifinals.

Speaking to Fox Sports in Brazil the football star’s father claimed that the striker will stay in Paris. Neymar Sr denied claims that he made a trip to Barcelona to begin negotiations.

He firmly declared, “It’s not planned. I am in Brazil and I stay there until the return of my son in Paris.”

Also, André Cury, Barcelona’s “representative” also denied meeting with the Neymar family. However, it has been reported that Ernesto Valverde has approved of Neymar’s signing.

Neymar wants to leave PSG for a stunning Nou Camp return, two years after he left for the Parc des Princes in a £200million transfer.

According to the same information, PSG don’t want Coutinho or Dembele as part of the deal. PSG will only sell Neymar if their asking price is met.

Meanwhile, Neymar is remaining cautiously optimistic about his impending return. So, he has opted to post videos on social media of himself working out with the surfer Gabriel Medina, making it clear that he will be in the best physical condition possible ahead of next season, wherever he is playing.

He does, however, believe that his return to Barcelona is feasible. He is going to take the necessary steps to make things as easy as possible for the Blaugrana, and he has told a few of his former Barcelona teammates about his optimism regarding a potential move.

After everything that has happened over the last couple of years, the fact that Neymar himself does not view his return to the Camp Nou as impossible is eye-opening. He is the first to acknowledge that he did not leave the club on the best of terms and he realises that he will have to do a few things to make the transfer happen.
