Russell Wilson’s teammates are now coming forward to support their keyman. The veteran quarterback has proved his worth for the Broncos this season. The recent resurgence by the Broncos is only made possible by Wilson’s back-to-back incredible performances. The 34-year-old star is now leading the Broncos side with maturity and confidence.

Wilson started his career for the Seattle Seahawks and played with the team for 10 straight years. The nine-time Pro Bowler also took the Seahawks to Super Bowl glory in 2014. Wilson’s performances started to decline in the past two years, and he only managed to produce a mere 16 TDs in 2022 before being signed by the Broncos.

Courtland Sutton wants an apology for Wilson!

Everyone has their eyes set on the QB this season. We all had questions about how the veteran settled down with his new team and whether he still churns out game-winning performances. Wilson has silenced critics for now as the dual-threat QB has led the Broncos from the front. WR Courtland Sutton has issued an apology form to everyone who doubted and disrespected Wilson during his time with the Seahawks.

Sutton targeted the media for convincing fans that Wilson was the problem. The apology also had some hilarious lines like, “I didn’t actually watch the game last season,” “I only looked at advanced statistics and analytics,” and “I don’t know jacksh*t about football.” Well, now we know that the Broncos are backing up their keyman, and you have to agree with them, as the stats say it all.

The NFL on CBS shared some stats on X that will prove how well Wilson is performing in the current season. He stands in the third spot in terms of passing TD and comes first in terms of pass TD/Att. Other than this, he is holding the second position in terms of passing TD/INT. He is also the best at holding the fort when it comes to making a comeback in the fourth quarter. Can this resurgence by Wilson take the Broncos to the playoffs?
