Davante Adams is a married man. He tied the knot with his wife, Devanne Villarreal, in 2018 at Pebble Beach in Monterey County, California. The couple is blessed with two daughters. But that’s not enough for the wide receiver. In a latest shocking revelation in the ‘Receiver’ series, Adams revealed that he wants a son very badly. During a workout session with the Raiders, Adams’ former teammate, Isaac Rochell, came to check on Adam’s wife’s health. That time she was pregnant with their second daughter, Dezi Lynn (whom they welcomed in 2022). Issac asked Adams how his wife was doing, and whether he was going to welcome a boy or a girl at that time.

Poll of the day

Do you think Davante Adams will surpass Tyreek Hill's record of ten kids?

Absolutely

No way

It's possible

Who cares?

To which the wide receiver responded that he was again blessed with a baby girl. Adams answered Rochell’s question of how many kids he has, “Two. Two girls. Ain’t — Bruh, I wanted a boy. All I wanted was a boy.” He continued, “Like, I just wanted that so bad. Really, all I care about is a healthy baby. If I could choose it, would’ve been a boy I still want my boy now–‘cause I got two girls. If I— If the only way I can have a boy, was to have my boy and five more girls, I would do it….I swear. It’s the greatest thing in the world.”

So, in short, even if Adams is blessed with 9 girls, he would still want a boy at the 10th number. And who knows, he might challenge the NFL’s other star receiver, Tyreek Hill, who is reportedly blessed with 10 kids, with four different women.

Besides this, Adams’ other major revelation is catching eyeballs, and i.e. his health disorder – an issue faced by millions of Americans.
