Pat McAfee backs Troy Vincent. Addressing the media about the kick-off play and the practice of fair catches at the December League meeting. He stated that the kick-offs are a ‘dead-ceremonial play’ and that the one-year-long ‘ encouraging ‘fair-catches’ experiment will be modified if not uprooted entirely. And on the latest episode of ‘The Pat McAfee Show’, the analyst stuck up for the NFL executive.

Pat McAfee took to the social media platform ‘X’ to share a segment from the latest episode of his podcast. With the caption, “The NFL is once again looking to make changes to the kickoff #PMSLive” the video spotlighted McAfee, diving into Vincent’s hot take.

He declared, “Okay, so hopefully we will no longer see fair catches in the NFL… special teams matter. And I feel like most of the conversations rally around the fact that they don’t or won’t in the future.”
