The Baltimore Ravens are leading the AFC North and are going against the Seattle Seahawks in the next game. They are leading the division without the help of Odell Beckham Jr. who has been out for a while due to his shoulder injury. However, the WR recently came forward and addressed the situation with his injury and the next game.

So far, Beckham has played 5 games with the team and hasn’t put up the numbers that were expected of him. He came up to address his injury situation in the interview and hinted at his presence in the next game.

Beckham was asked about his health in a recent interview and how his body has held up till now, he mentioned that his condition is tough and critical and that he is pushing through. It is this time of the year when the teams try and switch up things by switching players and management. Beckham and the team are trying to ‘find a groove’ and working their way through with trial and error.

“Early in the season, it was tough um with what I had going on, you just kind of got to push through and uh you know find ways for us to all work together and you know. You need a day here you need a day there then that’s what it is you know we’re here to play on Sundays um you just got to do your best to be prepared for that so definitely feeling better.” Said Beckham to the media.

OBJ mentions how the Ravens are a resilient team that relies on the next-man-up policy. OBJ seemed disappointed that he didn’t get to play and had succumbed to the injury so early into the season. The WR is trying to get back on his feet and be resilient for the future that is ahead of him. He says that he is focused on controlling his emotions and energy and on what God has planned for him.

The 6-2 team has done an amazing job for themselves, except for OBJ, however, he participated in full capacity on Thursday, so things are looking up for him in the long run. However, even without him, the Ravens have done a fine job this season considering the record they currently have.

The flying Ravens

The Ravens are competing with some of the best teams in the league like the Chiefs, the Miami Dolphins, and even the Eagles. Though they are still to play these teams, it would be interesting to see how they deal with these tier 1 teams in the future. They won the last game against the Arizona Cardinals with a difference of a touchdown. However, a win is a win.

Things are getting serious now as the 2023 season is getting deep and the Ravens have quite a busy schedule ahead as they will be battling the likes of the Dolphins, the 49ers, the Browns, and even the Bengals. The Ravens will need OBJ in perfect health going in the future especially if they make it to the playoffs. Though the team is not considered a Super Bowl contender as of now, things might change in the future.
