The Chiefs, having recently triumphed over the New England Patriots with a score of 27-17, place great emphasis on maintaining a robust offensive line. Mahomes’ holiday-inspired act of generosity has created a stir online, gaining a look of envy from linebacker Willie Gay as well.

The Super Bowl winner Patrick Mahomes gifted his offensive linemen with custom golf carts. These carts mirrored the design of a golf cart Mahomes previously auctioned for charity during the TNT series online, “The Match.” They feature a striking red and black design. Each lineman’s name and jersey number are prominently displayed in white on the sides, adding a personal touch.

The team’s spirit was on full display as players like Creed Humphrey, Donovan Smith, and Wanya Morris, showcased their new rides on Instagram. They were seen expressing their thanks to Mahomes all around. Amidst the scenes of utter appreciation though, Morris could be seen accompanied by Willie Gay Jr. as they were cruising in his cart.

Willie Gay Jr. went live on Instagram while enjoying the ride to display the experience through his social media account. While the star initially could be heard praising their QB for the extravagant gifts to the O-line, his voice soon added a tone of envy on not being able to receive one himself.

With continuous praises flowing in for the customized carts, Gay Jr. was quick to add jokingly how he wouldn’t mind switching to the offense team just to grab such precious gifts from Mahomes. The linebacker could even be seen jokingly commenting to Morris, “You all are spoilt, boy,” addressing the special treatment Mahomes presented to his offensive side. Not to mention, the offensive line has been helping Mahomes and Chiefs execute on a great level of accuracy, making matters multiple times easier for the QB.

The reason for the offensive line deserving Mahomes’ special gifts

This season, where Patrick Mahomes has achieved an impressive tally of 25 touchdowns, much of the credit goes to his offensive line. The offensive line players’ steadfast protection has been a crucial factor in his success. Not to mention, Mahomes’ low sack count of just 21, especially when considering he amassed over 1000 passing yards, shows that the offensive line has been majorly helpful.
