The Los Angeles Rams are up against a formidable enemy as they take on the Baltimore Ravens. Entering the game 6-6, they already have a tough battle ahead. But to make matters worse, within the first half, two crucial offensive weapons were injured and had to be ruled out of the game. Will the Rams be able to succeed, regardless?

With their TE, Hunter Long ruled out for the game. They just had 2 TEs left on their depth chart. And, it proved too costly for them as they ended up losing the game to the Ravens 31-36 in overtime.

The Los Angeles Rams’ official X account shared that TE Hunter Long has been deemed doubtful of returning because of a knee injury. That he had to be carted off the field does not bode well for the Rams, especially when one of their most reliable linemen has been ruled out for the rest of the game.

OL Rob Havenstein suffered a hip injury during the first quarter and had to be replaced by backup Joe Noteboom. Havenstein had earlier missed two back-to-back games in Week 8 and 9 due to a calf injury. And ever since he returned to the gridiron, he has skipped one practice day each week to recuperate. The Rams ended up losing both games that he had missed. The Ravens game turned out to be similar.

Both QBs had played in the game despite their statuses being unclear a day before the game. With each team at each other’s heels, they looked equally matched and the game could have swung either way.

The Rams’ offense stumbled during the fourth quarter and could not play at their best level during the entire second half. They will face the Washington Commanders next week. After today’s defeat, the Rams are 6-7, while the Commanders will be entering Week 15 with a 4-9 score.
