Did Saquon Barkley just get in trouble because of his daughter? Upon learning that her father would be moving to the Philadelphia Eagles, the 5-year-old asked her father, “Does that mean we’re going to win now?” The New York Giants fans went mad and started slandering the daughter, Jada. Barkley obviously got defensive and said that people would “just reach for anything.”
The Eagles’ new running back addressed the situation on the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce. There have been a lot of talks about Barkley moving to the rival team. Giants’ legend Tiki Barber took on X about Barkley saying that he was “dead to us.” Regardless of the noise, Barkley secured a 3-year $37 million deal with the Eagles and seemed happy about it.

The Giants had a bad run in 2023 and never won a game against the Eagles in the year 2023.

The toddler was perceptive of the rivalry and per Barkley, she saw “the pain it caused him (Barkley).” This was more of a daughterly concern than a shot at the New York Giants. The Pro Bowler RB mentioned that the media is trying to “spin” the narrative to spice things up and make something out of nothing.
“I’m telling you a story that my daughter we was getting our ass beat by the Eagles so bad and so much in my career that they’re like my daughter’s seen that it caused me coming home, my daughter’s like oh, are we actually going to win now? And everyone tried to spin it.”
Well, his daughter’s concerns might finally be alleviated after her father headed for the Philly team and there are a couple of reasons behind it.

He had issues with ankle sprain, torn ACLs, cervical neck stinger, and thigh hamstring injuries to name a few. By the time the regular season starts this year, though, the athlete might have some time to recover.

Another good news for Barkley this year is that the NFL looks to ban the hip-drop tackle. That means his chances of succumbing to an injury would plummet by a significant amount. That’s something to look forward to. With that, would the RB succeed with the Eagles this time around? What do you think?
