“Best of luck to the Miami Dolphins playing in London. I’ll be there to cheer you on. All the best.” A sweet and meaningful gesture from one of the fastest rising talents in the world. Russell is currently enjoying his breakout season in Formula One, winning crucial points for the dogged Williams Racing Team.

But opposite to him is the form both Jacksonville Jaguars and Miami Dolphins are in right now. Both teams have looked sub-par in the NFL, with the Jaguars losing all five of their games so far. The Dolphins shocked New England Patriots in the season opener, but they’ve derailed too since then. Last week, they suffered a heavy defeat to Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium can be the turning point for either team. Going 0-6 would be a catastrophe for the Jaguars, but a loss would also put the Dolphins in serious trouble. Who will emerge victorious in this battle? Will George Russell’s wishes pay off, or will they be for nought?

Earlier this year, Formula One announced some gigantic news. They are adding a new circuit to their list, and it’ll be in Miami, Florida. The Dolphins’ stadium, Hard Rock Stadium will also play host to the Formula One Miami Grand Prix. This is terrific news not just for the citizens of Miami, but even for local F1 fanatics, businesses and even NFL fans.

The tie-up with the NFL team’s stadium will bring in a lot of cross-sport eyes to the product. Despite being completely different, many F1 fans might relate to the NFL and vice versa. After all, both organisations are actively helping their respective sports grow; and they are both the fastest growing sports in the world.
