The NFL is moving into Week 4 and this season is already giving lots to remember. There have been several memorable moments going about this year. With the on-season trade-offs, some really tight games, thrilling upsets, and the fan drama that continues to grow! The 104th edition of the NFL has given rise to new heroes. And given a chance for established legends to rewrite their legacies.

However, there’s one unfortunate incident that keeps on doing rounds amongst the NFL fraternity. The moment can be called one of the defining incidents of the ongoing NFL season. Though, it took in Week 1, during the initial games, the murmur around the same is still grabbing headlines. Recently, one of the NFL legends gave his consensus of the infamous event. Speaking on the Up & Adams Show, the big-boned former Patriots star shared his viewpoints regarding the same. However, he did a taste of his own as he went about explaining the misfortune incident.

Rob Gronkowski sheds light on the A-Rod injury

The much-hyped transfer of Aaron Rodgers from the Packers to his debut for the Jets was short-lived. The 39-year-old quarterback tore his left Achilles tendon within the first quarter. The GOAT’s injury has since then caused an uproar in the media. Rob recently entered the chat when he was asked about the same on the Up & Adams Show. The former tight end gave his two cents about the same. He said “That is a tough situation. I mean with the Aaron Rodgers’ injury. It just shocked everyone. From the fans to the head coach, it’s just making it hard. That’s what it’s doing.” 

The 4X SB champion didn’t shy away from reeking into the impact of A-Rod’s injury within the Jets’ camp. Moreover, the player’s views showed that he too was concerned about the QB’s injury and highlighted how it was hampering the team’s performance. He brought to light the Jets’ issues that have cropped up since the injury. “The defense is making it harder than the team and I gotta go with how the players are feeling. You know how the defense is feeling…..At the moment it’s the players who are on the field playing the game and if they’re disgruntled. They’re not going to perform to the highest they can perform.”  For A-Rod, there’s positive news for his fans.

Aaron Rodgers is on the road to recovery weeks after his season-ending injury. Recently, he was pictured walking in crutches for the first time since getting injured in Week 1. This came in days after he gave a huge update to a fellow NFL legend. These are positive signs going forward for the player and the Jets team. Wearing a compression sleeve on his left leg as an extra precautionary measure for the injury. He walked to his car after a four-hour workout!

Hopefully, his off-field recovery bears fruits and he comes back to the field next season. If there’s one thing that defines the Aaron Rodgers of old is his ability to match his words with action. Undergoing a successful surgery during Week 2, it’s another great sign that the 5X SB MVP is getting back to his best!
